Nostos is proud to celebrate alumnus Kevin Treacy, whose debut feature film Crazy Love premiered at the 32nd International Film Festival Oldenburg—one of Europe’s most respected showcases for independent cinema, often referred to as the “Sundance of Europe.”
Crazy Love marks Treacy’s feature directorial debut. The film tells the story of Clayton, a suicidal man who voluntarily checks himself into a psychiatric hospital, where he falls in love with Anna, a patient diagnosed with schizophrenia who is unable to leave the institution. Their fragile and unconventional relationship becomes a tender yet desperate struggle for love, dignity, and survival within a system that views emotional connection as a threat to treatment.
