Congratulations to Nostos Alumna Elettra Fiumi for completing the feature film "Radical Landscapes", developed at Nostos in 2020!

Elettra Fiumi is an award-winning Swiss-based Florentine-American film director, producer and editor. Born into the world of avant-garde design—her father, Fabrizio Fiumi, was a founding member of radical architecture group 9999—she dedicated 10 years to uncovering and preserving the group's history. Through Radical Landscapes, Fiumi blends archival materials, personal narratives, and contemporary reflections to bring the radical ideas of 9999 to a wider audience. Her work extends beyond filmmaking into journalism and storytelling, often focusing on themes of art, design, and cultural heritage. Today she works on various film projects with her production company, Fiumi Studios. She is focused on Artificial Intelligence for cinema and is developing her first fiction film.

Radical Landscapes premiered at DOCNYC, won the Design Film Award at the Milan Design Film Festival, was nominated for various awards, traveled film festivals, museums and universities internationally. It was the opening night film of the Seoul Architecture Film Festival.
