Synopsis

A new skyscraper stands out against the sky amidst massive mirrored buildings and vertical forests, symbols of Milan’s new skyline. Alone, one man bravely scales the building, defying the concrete and glass bastions of new world finance. His act of civil disobedience at 500 feet in the sky makes people look up for a few hours and reflect on the meaning of the expression “stay human”.

Un nuovo grattacielo svetta tra palazzoni specchiati e boschi verticali, simboli del nuovo skyline di Milano. Un uomo, in solitudine, fa una scalata sfidando con coraggio i colossi di cemento e vetro della finanza mondiale. Il suo gesto di disubbidienza civile a 150 metri d’altezza obbliga per qualche ora i passanti ad alzare lo sguardo e riflettere sul significato della frase: “restiamo umani”.

Biography

Stefano De Felici (1981), graduated in film directing and multimedia production, specialized at the Fondazione Milano in film directing and tools of digital culture and at the Politecnico di Milano in multimedia and interactivity. He made his film debut with the short documentary "Cemento all’indice" selected at the Ischia Film Festival in 2008, a situationist gesture starring Carlo Freccero and Tatti Sanguineti. In 2009 he spoke about the Italian social and economic crisis with "Caccia Grossa", a documentary co-produced by AAMOD thanks to the support of Mimmo Calopresti, selected at the London International Documentary Festival. With "Non siamo scarti" in 2012 he received the star of social merit from the mayor of Milan Giuliano Pisapia and won the festival Pillole d’ attualità al Festival Isola del Cinema di Roma with which he obtained a distribution and was broadcast by Rai. In 2018 his short film “Ferruccio story of a (little) robot” participated among other festivals in the official selection at the Newport Beach Film Festival and the Festival Europeen du Film Court de Brest. “Gioja22” (2021), his latest short documentary, is a world premiere at Flickerfest 2021.

Stefano De Felici (1981), diplomato in regia e produzione multimediale, si è specializzato alla Fondazione Milano in regia e strumenti della cultura digitale e al Politecnico di Milano in multimedia e interattività. Esordisce nella regia con il corto documentario “Cemento all’indice” selezionato all’Ischia Film Festival nel 2008, un gesto situazionista con protagonisti Carlo Freccero e Tatti Sanguineti. Nel 2009 racconta l’Italia della crisi con “Caccia Grossa”, documentario co-prodotto dall’AAMOD grazie al sostegno di Mimmo Calopresti, selezionato al London International Documentary Festival. Con “Non siamo scarti” nel 2012 riceve dal sindaco di Milano Giuliano Pisapia la stella al merito sociale e vince il festival Pillole d’ attualità al Festival Isola del Cinema di Roma col quale ottiene una distribuzione e viene trasmesso dalla Rai. Nel 2018 il suo cortometraggio “Ferruccio storia di un Robottino” partecipa fra gli altri festival in selezione ufficiale al Newport Beach Film Festival e al Festival Europeen du Film Court de Brest. “Gioja22” (2021), il suo ultimo corto documentario, è un'anteprima mondiale al Flickerfest 2021.
